Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Adoption is joining You Can Adopt to launch a new campaign to recruit adopters - Every Day is Everything.
It's often the ordinary moments that mean the most – and that's what Every Day is Everything is all about.
Celebrating the everyday moments that help make a family, while reminding us that adoption isn't about being perfect - it's about being there, every day.
Children in need of adoption in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough are spending an average of 9 months of their childhood without a permanent family, and for a young child, that is a huge proportion of their life. And in early childhood, every day matters.
For families, including adoptive parents, those everyday moments - no matter how big or small, silly, chaotic, hard - even the ones you might not even notice at the time – build over time and add up to everything. The school runs, the mealtimes, the bedtime conversations.
It's not about being perfect, it's about showing up and being there, day after day.
Every child needs and should have a permanent home, and for those children who are still waiting for theirs, every day is everything.
